Among the many features offered, you might find those interesting and useful:
- "Member search": this enables you to find out if some former colleagues are already registered members of the Association. If not, they might appear in the "Lost Members" section. Help us locate them and encourage them to join as well !
- In the "Latest News" section we will try and update you regularly. You can contribute with interesting information too. Just let the Webmaster know about it. Under "Publications" you will discover what other members are up to in their new activities. The "Links" section will help you get connected to many other useful web sites.
- Four sections used to constitute the structure of the Association (Suisse romande, Zürich, Basel and International). Following a modification of our statutes adopted at our 2009 General Assembly, they are be ing replaced by "Chapters" which members are creating according to their needs and wishes in various parts of the country or abroad. If you join, you will have to chose one of them, but each will maintain its own Home Page, and in order to cater for the specific needs of our members, will post information in English, French or German respectively. The "International Chapter" will hopefully attract many new members and we would love to see them develop AFD related reunions and activities outside of Switzerland. That's what networking is all about !
- Members can join specific "Groups" to interact with former collegues who either worked together in a given delegation or unit at headquarters, or share a common interest in a particular activity. More groups can be created to suit your own needs if they are not listed yet.
- Our "Calendar" will inform you of important upcoming or past events and enable you to plan activities in each region. We hope that you will join many of them and meet with each other !
